DCS Telephone - Box Capacities
Samsung DCS telephone systems from the Korean telecoms giant was a selection of business telephony solutions, designed to deliver integrated voice and data communications to small and medium sized businesses and organisations. DCS Telephone Solution
Supporting up to 202 ports where there is up to 90 ISDN30 channels or 190 endpoints. This was a beige plastic CCU with a cassette type of card that gave protection of static build-up. Up to 3 cabinets can be joined together. Voicemail was originally called Cadence but was superseded by SVMi8. 8DLI would accept 8 DCS telephones or 16 if daughter-cards were used and in the first of 3 cabs.
DCS Compact II
Up to 86 port in a grey metal box. The expansion was needed if using voice-mail or ISDN30e.
DCS Compacts
12 lines, 42 extension maximum. The backplane itself came with capacity for 8 DCS telephone hand-sets, each of which could take a daughter-card. 6 cct per DCS telephone modules.

10 line, 16 ext. Two analogue trunk connections on the processor

4 x 8 of which four can be DCS telephone and the others are POTs
DCS VIP
The inaugural VoIP offering were these DCS telephone IP boxes. Double shelves can be connected.
